10th Anniversary of Carrickmines Fire

Today, the national flag is being flown at half-mast outside County Hall, Marine Road, to mark the tenth anniversary of the Carrickmines fire and in memory of those who tragically lost their lives: Jimmy Lynch, Willie Lynch, Tara Gilbert, Kelsey Lynch, Jodie Lynch, Thomas Connors, Sylvia Connors, Jim Connors, Christy Connors, and Mary Connors.

Our thoughts are with the families and friends of those who lost their lives.

A minute’s silence will be observed during the County Council Meeting on Monday, 13 October, by elected members and staff of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council.
