Upgrading works along The Metals

We are undertaking works along the metals as part of the Lexicon Environs upgrade project currently underway.  The walkway between the Lexicon and the Peoples Park will be resurfaced. The contractor, Clonmel Construction will undertake this work in two stages.

Stage 1 will resurface the walkway between the People’s Park and the bridge connecting the Metals with the East Pier. This will take place from Monday 2^nd December to Friday 6^th December. 

Stage 2 will resurface the walkway between the bridge and the Lexicon and will take place from Monday 9^th December to Friday 13^th December.

Signage will be put in place directing pedestrians and cyclists to the parallel route along the seafront.    .
