DLR Parks along with Schools & local Communities are planting a 1-hectare woodland in Fernhill during National Tree week, 21st – 27th March 2020.
Trees and woodlands can be a big part of the solution to the Climate Emergency, it is our intention to use this event to kickstart a more ambitious Native Woodland programme using viable native trees, and sustainable aftercare. The woodland will be measured for its Climate mitigation benefits and forecast for the trees increased benefits for our future generations.
See here for more information.
