Temporary Road Closure of Castle Street, Dalkey

Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council has approved the closure of Castle Street to vehicular traffic on on Saturday 27th August, 2022 and Sunday 28th August, 2022 from 11 a.m. to 7.00 p.m. The road will be closed from the Church of the Assumption to the Allied Irish Bank.

The purpose of the closure is to facilitate the Dalkey Lobster Festival. 

The road closure will create a safe and family friendly community atmosphere for the Lobster Festival with cookery demonstrations, street entertainment etc.

A traffic management plan with diversion routes will be in operation. Local access will be maintained for the full duration of the event.
