2022 NTA Funding Announced

The Minister for Transport Eamon Ryan T.D., today confirmed that the National Transport Authority (NTA) has allocated funds to Ireland’s local authorities with a view to spending €289 million on walking and cycling infrastructure in 2022.
As parrt of this initiative, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council is to receive €38 million to help facilitate the development of various infrastructure projects across the county, including projects such as junction improvements for cyclists and pedestrians, greenways in parks, Harbour Area public realm improvements, and accessibility improvementsto name a few.
