Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council proposes to temporarily close Killiney Hill Road from Monday 5th July 2021 to Friday 10th September 2021.

This closure is to facilitate watermain rehabilitation works by Irish Water. Also during this period, road surfacing works will be carried out by the Council’s Road Maintenance Section.

It is proposed to close Killiney Hill Road in three phases in order to facilitate works and to minimise disruption to traffic, local residents, and local businesses.

The proposed road closure phases on Killiney Hill Road are as follows:

  1.   Junction of Killiney Avenue to Military Road
  2.   Junction of Strathmore Road to Killiney Avenue
  3.   Junction of Victoria Road to Strathmore Road

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation and local access will be maintained at all times.

Any interested party may lodge an objection in writing with the Senior Engineer, Traffic Section, County Hall, Marine Road, Dun Laoghaire or email info@dlrcoco.ie on or before Wednesday 9th June, 2021.
