Proposed Temporary Closure of Blackglen Road, Sandyford

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has received an application from Murphy Ireland Ltd to temporarily close Blackglen Road, Sandyford, Dublin 18.

The road closure will be between the two junctions with Ticknock Park (Ticknock Park/ Ticknock Drive ,including Ticknock Hill section of road and Simons Ridge section of road also known as the “Link Road”). 

The road closure is scheduled to take place from Monday 28th February 2022 to Monday 5th September 2022.

The purpose of the closure is to facilitate construction of the Blackglen Road Improvement Scheme on behalf of dlr County Council. 

A traffic management plan will be in operation. Local access will be maintained at all times. Diversion routes will be clearly signposted.

Any interested parties may lodge an objection in writing with the Senior Engineer, Traffic Section, County Hall, Marine Road, Dún Laoghaire no later than noon on Monday 14th February 2022. Alternatively, please send an email to info@dlrcoco.ie.
