An Cathaoirleach of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, Councillor Lettie McCarthy launched the Summer into Heritage programme 2021 at Fernhill House and Gardens today.

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council Summer into Heritage runs from 5th July until 29th August 2021.

dlr Summer of Heritage is a programme of FREE guided walks and tours organised by the Heritage Office of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council so you can explore the history and heritage of the county.

All walks and tours are limited to 8 people and must be booked in advance. All attendees must book separately and provide contact details through the booking form for the guided walk or tour. Your contact data will be retained for 21 days in case of need for contact tracing. Bookings for tours and walks will be released in stages throughout the duration of the programme.

When taking part in a walk or tour please maintain social distancing from other attendees, guides and other members of the public. We recommend that you consider wearing a mask or face covering. All walks and tours are outdoors, so please dress for all weathers and wear suitable footwear. Please note that parking is limited in the environs of many of the Heritage sites, so please walk, cycle or use public transport where possible. The nearest public transport options for each site are included on the booking.
