Sandyford meets California: a musical adventure

The Music Generation dlr Sandyford Youth Band (SYB) will join forces with Dublin High School California for an evening of musical entertainment on Tuesday 5th April at UCD, Belfield.

This is an event not to be missed and a chance for the public to experience the power of young people making music through wind ensembles, chamber orchestra, and jazz ensemble.

Over the past four years, Sandyford Youth Band has grown from strength to strength in collaboration with Music Generation dlr, providing young people with significant musical experiences and opportunities.

An Cathaoirleach Councillor Lettie McCarthy, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council said:

Sandyford Youth Band is a community within a community playing a significant role in the lives of young people and their families in dlr. I am delighted to see this event happening as it will be their first major outing since the pandemic and first international collaboration”

Join the bands on Tuesday, 5th April 2022, 7.30pm, in UCD Ad Astra Hall. Tickets are free but booking is essential.
