dlr Leisure Meadowbrook Swimming Pool in Ballinteer closed until repair works carried out

The main swimming pool at dlr Leisure Meadowbrook was closed on February 25 due to an issue with pool tiles.  dlr Leisure Services operate the Meadowbrook Centre and Pool on behalf  of Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council and for the benefit of the local community.  The Centre facilitates access to leisure and sports facilities at affordable rates for residents in the local community.

dlr have engaged a Consultant Engineer to examine the issue and provide a report which will determine the schedule of works in order to repair and re-open the pool.

We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause the local community but we anticipate that the works will not be completed until later this year.  Every effort is being made by the Council to ensure that the works to the pool at Meadowbrook will be expedited and the pool will re-open at the earliest possible date.  Regular updates will be posted on dlrcoco.ie and on our social media accounts.
