County Development Plan 2022-2028 Art Competition
Children from Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown were asked to create a piece of art illustrating what one of the below two County Development Plan themes meant to them:
Theme 1: Climate Action
Theme 2: Neighborhood - People, Homes and Place
We had a good response and received over 60 entries across the two categories. The standard of entries was extremely high, and our Judges had a hard time choosing the winners.
Congratulations to our winners!
The Winners have been chosen and the First-Place art works are included in the County Development Plan 2022-2028 as follows:
Theme 1: Climate Action:
First Place - Leja Matiykaite, Dominican Primary School (cover of Chapter 3)
Second Place – Kim Doyeon, St Andrew’s Junior School (paged 65, Chapter 3)
Theme 2: Neighbourhood:
First Place – Lucy Legge, Kill O’ the Grange NS (inside cover of Chapter 4)
Second Place – Sadie Bowen, Hollypark GNS (page 235, Chapter 12)
