Repair to the East Pier Revetment

A €2M repair project to the East Pier Revetment (concrete slope behind the East Pier) will commence on 19 June and continue for approx 16 weeks.

Access to the revetment behind the pier will be closed off from the Bandstand to the Lighthouse Battery throughout this project.

This important repair scheme is funded by the Brexit Adjustment Local Authority Marine Infrastructure Scheme 2022-2023 as administered by The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine.
