No Swimming / Bathing Prohibition Notice for a number of beaches

No Swimming / Bathing Prohibition (updated 14 June)

Due to recent heavy rainfall, swimming is not advised at:

• Blackrock Baths Shore
• Coliemore Harbour
• Seapoint
• Dún Laoghaire Baths
• Sandycove Beach and 40foot.

This notice is in place until at least the 19 June. Water quality testing is ongoing, with results expected next week. After heavy rain, it's important to avoid contact with the water for at least 48 hours to reduce the risk of recreational water illnesses. Please follow local guidance and stay safe.
