If trees or bushes from private property are overgrowing onto the road or footpath and causing a hazard the location / address of the problem should be reported to the Road Maintenance Section, Transportation Department.

If you have a maintenance issue in your property, you must contact your landlord in the first instance. It is the responsibility of the landlord as owner of the property to carry out any repairs to the property. It is the responsibility of the Tenant to maintain the property in a responsible manner and the Landlord should be notified of any issues that may require attention.

You will need to bring a form of photo identification i.e. passport; driver’s license etc., proof of income and proof of homelessness (i.e: a sworn affidavit, NTQ verified by Threshold, etc.)
You do not need to do anything. The Council will transfer some of your details (i.e. name, address, waiver status - if applicable - and bin details only) to Panda. No other details relating to your account with the Council will be supplied. Panda will continue to provide the bin service on the normal collection days in your area and they will contact you in due course.

Each year, following the Annual Budget meeting, the Rate books for the County are prepared and are available for inspection by the public for 14 days. After the 14 days the rate is made by the County Manager and the seal of the Council is fixed to the Rate books. This would generally happen late January/early February each year. The date the Rate is made is advertised in the media each year.
Each year, following the Annual Budget meeting, the annual rate on valuation (ARV) is adopted. Within 14 days of the first day of the financial year the ARV is published on the website and in the media each year.
