Anti-Dog Fouling Poster Competition 2026
Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council is delighted to bring back the Anti-Dog Fouling Poster Competition for 2026. Through this competition primary school students in Dún laoghaire-Rathdown were offered the opportunity to win prizes, certificates and to get their posters displayed on Big belly bins around the county!
In honour of World Ocean Day and to raise awareness on the dangers of dog fouling on our beaches, an additional category was added to this year's competition. The two categories for this years competition were:
- Dog Poo on the Coast
- Dog Poo on the Pavement
Let’s work together for cleaner, safer streets and seafronts! 💚🌊
📅 Applications close: 20th March
🏫Open to: All primary schools in the county (One submission per class)
🏆Prizes and certificates to be won!
🗑️Winning posters will appear on Big Belly Bins across the county!
