Dublin Bay Cruises

Dublin Bay Cruises sail between Dún Laoghaire and Howth six times a day from March to October. The 90 minute trip brings passengers around the beautiful vista of Dublin Bay. The cruise is offered as a one way trip between both harbours with passengers able to make their way back to the city centre or departure harbour by train or other public transport links. The DART directly connects Howth and Dún Laoghaire harbours calling at coastal and city centre stations along the way. The DART stations in both Howth and Dún Laoghaire are located less than 300m from the berthing locations. For more information, please visit here

Go Sailing in Dublin Bay

Go Sailing offers boat tours and trips in Dublin sailing on a 54’ custom designed yacht with a fully qualified skipper and crewmember out of Dún Laoghaire.

During the sailing trip, as well as learning sailing terminology, how sails work and some basic sailing skills, passengers will be guided through local history as they sail along the South Dublin coastline from Dún Laoghaire to Killiney Bay.

Irish National Sailing and Powerboat School

The Irish National Sailing and Powerboat School is based on the West Pier, Dun Laoghaire, in county Dublin. Since its establishment in 1978, they have provided sailing and powerboat training to approximately 170,000 trainees. A team of full-time instructors are on hand to get you on the water all year round. Powerboat training is available to all levels and abilities through scheduled courses and one to one training here.
