Event Description

From Victorian leisure cycling, to racing clubs and the birth of Irish mountain biking, this exhibition charts the growth of the sport over time. The initiative includes material from the Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown Archives and new interviews with local cyclists and clubs. At its centre is the Dún Laoghaire Cycling Week collection from the 1950s, showcasing a major race which attracted international competitors. A must see for cycling addicts and history lovers. 

 

  • This exhibition will be held from Thursday 9 July - Sunday 16 August
