Award-winning writer Julie Parsons, author of People Like Us shares the memories of her grandfather, Canon George Chamberlain, rector of the Mariners' church for thirty-five years. Through times of turmoil, social and political change, and war, George Chamberlain provided both his family and his parish with a secure belief in their church and confidence in their state.
