We're hiring Housing Maintenance Plasterers
We are looking for qualified plasterers to join a panel for future opportunities within our Housing Maintenance team. As vacancies arise, successful candidates may be offered permanent or temporary positions, giving them the opportunity to play an important role in maintaining and improving homes for our residents.
Join our Housing Maintenance team and help us maintain and improve Council homes and properties across Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown. We serve over 233,000 citizens and, in this role, you will play an important part in ensuring our housing stock is safe, well maintained and fit for purpose. Working as part of a skilled team, you will help deliver essential maintenance services that make a real difference to the lives of our tenants and communities.
What is a Plasterer?
You will work within our Housing Maintenance Section carrying out a range of plastering, repair and maintenance work across Council homes and other properties. Day to day, you will undertake repairs and reinstatement works, help maintain the condition of our housing stock, and work closely with colleagues and contractors to deliver high quality results. The role requires a strong focus on workmanship, health and safety, customer service and teamwork.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a recognised plastering qualification and a completed apprenticeship
- Has relevant post-qualification experience
- Can carry out repair and maintenance work to a high standard
- Is committed to health and safety best practices
- Has strong communication, customer service and teamwork skills
- Holds a full Category B driving licence
