DLRCC is now seeking applications for the post of Decarbonising Zone Climate Action Officer Temporary three year contract. Dun Laoghaire/Blackrock is dlr’s designated Decarbonising Zone (DZ). The post is being created to support the Dun Laoghaire and Blackrock Decarbonising Zone, in the first instance, to realise the ambitious targets of 50% improvement in energy efficiency and 51% absolute reduction in carbon emissions, set for 2030 with a trajectory for net zero by the end of 2050. The role may be extended to cover any new areas going forward.
