We're hiring Clerical Officers
Join Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council and help deliver essential services to our communities. We serve over 233,000 citizens and, in this role, you will play an important part in supporting Council services across a range of departments. Working as part of a team, you will help deliver high quality customer service, support day to day operations and contribute to the efficient running of the Council.
What is a Clerical Officer?
A Clerical Officer supports the day to day work of the Council. The role includes helping customers, processing applications and information, maintaining records, organising documents and using computer systems to support Council services. Clerical Officers work as part of a team and help ensure services are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.
We are looking for someone with:
- Good organisational and administrative skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good IT skills and the ability to work with a range of computer systems.
- A positive and professional approach to work.
- Leaving Certificate qualifications, equivalent qualifications, relevant work experience or previous service in a Clerical Officer role.
