dlr Leisure Loughlinstown Pitches & Padel Courts

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council in partnership with dlr Leisure are upgrading two  all-weather pitches and developing 3 padel tennis courts at dlr Leisure Loughlinstown, Loughlinstown, Co. Dublin. The upgraded pitches will include third generation synthetic surfacing & shockpad, upgraded LED floodlighting, goals, fencing and ballstop netting. The pitch is utilising new technologies for the infill material which is a cork material rather than the normal black rubber. Access improvements will be undertaken as part of the upgrade works so that the facilities are inclusive and accessible by all. The pitches and padel courts can be booked through dlr Leisure Loughlinstown once complete.

The project aims to provide high quality and inclusive facilities for the local community  to encourage an active lifestyle. 

Works are scheduled to be complete by Q4 2026. 

The project is supported by dlr Leisure Services and the Community Sport Facilities Fund.
