Corbawn Lane

Corbawn Lane

Corbawn Lane entrance to Shankill Beach is located 500 metres from Shankill Dart station at the end of Corbawn Lane road. The terrace which has a ramp leading down to the strand provides great views of Killiney beach, Sorrento Terrace, Dalkey Island and Bray head to the south. The strand is unsuitable for those with disabilities due to the stoney terrain and dangers posed by unstable cliffs. There are two main entrances to this section of Shankill strand, one is at Corbawn lane entrance and one at the end of Quinn's Road. Given limited parking and narrow laneway access, these two entrances to strand are mainly used by walkers. Those walking the strand are advised to keep a safe distance from the unstable cliffs and to wear sturdy shoes.
