Funding and Opportunities Calendar for 2026

Discover the Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown Arts Funding & Opportunities Calendar for 2026

This calendar lists the months our grants and bursaries will open for entries in 2026. We hope it helps you plan your arts and cultural activity for the year. The money available supports art opportunities for individuals, groups, and communities.

The grants and bursaries will help new artists and community projects. We have two new grants in 2026 called

  • The Elevate Awards and
  • Amateur and Community Performing Arts Grants.

These new funds have been created in response to community feedback and local need. The new grants are available thanks to an extra €100,000 of support from Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council.

 We also have:

  • artist residencies for musicians and writers
  • public art commissions
  • film projects through dlr First Frames.

We will add more opportunities later in the year. We are also working on a new website to make funding information easy to find. Sign up to our arts ebulletin to keep up to date on closing dates and details on how to apply.
