Rhythm Club - 2018

Rhythm Club began with members of our local Deaf and Deafblind community, starting in St. Joseph's House for Deaf and Deafblind with additional participants from the Anne Sullivan Centre. Musician George Higgs who has specialist experience working with Deaf people trhough music, sound and vibrations faciltiated these sessions.  

The second phase of the project started on the 15 September 2018 in Patrician Community Centre, Stillorgan and was open to all to get involved.
 

Rhythm Club
 

Rhythm Club was a new movement and sound club open to all ages and abilities. The club was open every second week, one week music and sound through vibrations and the next movement and dance.The club is especially welcoming to people who are Deaf or may have vision loss. There was be an ISL interpreter at each session.
