Proposed Temporary Closure of Ferndale Road

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has received an application from Ward and Burke Construction to extend the temporary closure of Ferndale Road from Thornhill Road / Old Connaught Avenue junction to Allies River Road junction from the commencement date of Monday 11th September, 2023 to Thursday 30th November, 2023 (New extension date).  Closure will only commence when the works on Thornhill Road have been completed.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation and pedestrian and local access will be maintained at all times. Diversion routes will be clearly signposted. 

 

The purpose of the closure is installation of Ferndale Road culvert replacement for Uisce Éireann. 

 

Any interested parties may lodge objections/observations in writing with the Senior Engineer, County Hall, Marine Road, Dun Laoghaire or email info@dlrcoco.ie before Noon on Wednesday 1st November, 2023.
