Proposed Temporary Closure of Ferndale Road

I refer to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993.  Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has received an application from Ward and Burke Construction to temporarily close Ferndale Road from Thornhill Road / Old Connaught Avenue junction to Allies River Road junction from Monday 11th September, 2023 to Friday 17th November, 2023.  Closure will commence when the works on Thornhill Road have been completed.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation and pedestrian and local access will be maintained at all times. Diversion routes will be clearly signposted. 

 

The purpose of the closure is installation of Ferndale Road culvert replacement for Uisce Éireann. 

 

Any interested parties may lodge objections/observations in writing with the Senior Engineer, County Hall, Marine Road, Dun Laoghaire or email info@dlrcoco.ie before Noon on Wednesday 16th August, 2023.
