Temporary Road Closures - Hillcrest Road & Knocknacree Road

Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council has made an order to temporarily close Hillcrest Road, Sandyford, from the junction of Kilgobbin Road to the junction with Enniskerry Road / Hillcrest Downs on Sunday 4th September, between 7.00 a.m and 7.00 p.m in order to facilitate essential cleansing works on Hillcrest Road by the dlr Roads Maintenance Section.

A Traffic Management Plan will be in place and the diversion route will be clearly signposted. 

Access to Sandyford Village/Sandyford Road from Kilgobbin Road will be unaffected.  Local access to Hillcrest Road will be maintained and diversion of Traffic will be via Kilgobbin Road and Enniskerry Road and vice versa.

We have also made an order to temporarily close Knocknacree Road.

Knocknacree Road will be closed at House No. 4 from 07:00hrs to 18:00hrs on Sunday 4th September 2022.

The purpose of the closure is to extract a crane which was involved in site works. A Traffic Management Plan will be in operation and local access will be maintained at all times
