Propsed Temporary Closure of roads within Sandyford Business District to facilitate the Spirit Sandyford 5K Race - 2019

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council has received an application from Dundrum South Dublin Athletic Club, in association with Sandyford Business District Association, for a partial to full closure of a number of roads within Sandyford Business District on Thursday, 26th September 2019 to facilitate the Spirit Sandyford 5K Race – 2019.

The Start Time of the Race is 7.30 p.m.

It is envisaged that the roads will be closed at 7.15 p.m. and will remain closed until after the completion of the race at 8.30 p.m

The Roads affected are as follows:

  1. Blackthorn Road, (Partial)
  2.  Blackthorn Avenue, (Partial)
  3.  Carmanhall Road
  4.  Three Rock Road
  5.  Corrig Road
  6.  Raven’s Rock Road

A Traffic Management Plan will be in place and all diversion routes will be clearly sign-posted.

Emergency Access can be provided, if required, during the period of the road closures.

Any interested party may lodge an objection in writing with the Senior Engineer, Traffic Section, County Hall, Marine Road, Dún Laoghaire not later than noon on: Monday, 16th September 2019 or email info@dlrcoco.ie
