Dublin Mountains Community Archaeologist

We are seeking a Dublin Mountains Community Archaeologist for 2022.

This is a collaborative initiative between Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, South Dublin County Council and the Dublin Mountains Partnership. Core funding has been provided by the Heritage Council of Ireland.

The Archaeologist will work closely with the Dublin Mountains Partnership Recreation Manager and the Heritage Officers of South Dublin County Council and Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council to provide community archaeologist services to the Dublin Mountains region for a contract of service period of 6 months duration. 

The role will include promoting awareness, protection, knowledge and understanding of the Dublin Mountains archaeological landscape among individuals and community groups living, working and recreating in the Dublin Mountains region
