dlr Biodiversity Kilbogget Park Pondlife Event

Wednesday, 17th of August 2022

14:00 – 15:30

Join us for the dlr Biodiversity event in Kilbogget Park by the An Taisce Legacy4LIFE Team to learn about freshwater ponds & their importance to our wildlife.

The An Taisce Legacy4LIFE Team will teach you all about our freshwater ponds & their importance to native wildlife in Dún Laoghaire Rathdown. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from experts about the diversity of aquatic wildlife living in these ponds in Kilbogget Park, see if you can spot the water boatman or dragonfly and learn how we can use certain species to indicate water quality and how healthy the pond is.

Did you know there are otter in Kilbogget Park? Lots to learn and see.

Places are limited and you must book your place. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Join dlr Biodiversity event in Marlay Park with the An Taisce Legacy4LIFE Team to learn about freshwater ponds & their importance to native wildlife.

An Taisce Legacy4LIFE Team will teach us about freshwater ponds & their importance to native wildlife in Marlay Park. Lets explore the diversity of aquatic wildlife living in these ponds, in Marlay Park and see what lives there and how we can use certain species to indicate water quality and how healthy the pond is.

Did you know that the Kingfisher with its beautiful flash of electric blue visits the ponds in Marlay to fish there. Let's find out more about our pondlife.
