Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council proposes to temporarily close Hillcrest Road, Sandyford on Sunday 4th September 2022, between 7.00 a.m. and 7.00 p.m. The road will be closed between the junction of Kilgobbin Road to the junction with Enniskerry Road / Hillcrest Downs.

The purpose of the closure is to facilitate essential cleansing works on Hillcrest Road by the dlr Roads Maintenance Section. 

A traffic management plan will be in place and the diversion route will be clearly signposted. Access to Sandyford Village/Sandyford Road from Kilgobbin Road will be unaffected. Local and pedestrian access to Hillcrest Road will be maintained.

Diversion of traffic will be via Kilgobbin Road and Enniskerry Road and vice versa.

Any interested parties may lodge an objection with the Senior Engineer, Traffic & Road Safety Section, County Hall, Marine Road, Dún Laoghaire not later than noon on Friday 26th August 2022 or via email to info@dlrcoco.ie.
