Gallery Tours for people living with Dementia

Are you living with dementia or would you like to try something different with your loved one living with dementia? While you can't come and visit us in the Gallery in dlr LexIcon just yet, Julie, Claire and Orla have adapted our popular tours to an online experience that we hope you will enjoy. Explore and discuss a selection of artworks from our County Collection in these specially created online discussions that you can easily enjoy at home using a mobile phone, a tablet or a computer.

Our next tours are on Tuesday 27 April at 2.30-3.30pm, Monday 17 May at 11am-12pm and Tuesday 25 May at 2.30-3.30pm.

These tours are very popular, and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.

Tours can be booked by individuals to enjoy at home or we can tailor tours for groups living in residential care settings for older people.

The tours and free and funded by the HSE/dlr County Council Arts and Health Partnership and supported by the Azure Network.
