Killiney and Dalkey Hill form part of Killiney Hill Park, located just south of Dalkey. It is a public park with many walking trails through meadows, forest, and hilly terrain. At its peak, on a clear day there are spectacular views of Dublin city on one side and as far as Bray Head on the other.
The park is home to a number of monuments two of which are the Obelisk, also known as the Witch’s Hat, and a small step pyramid. The hill is also the site of the famous Dalkey Quarry which gives the appearance of a dramatic cliff face on one side of the hill.
