A certificate granted by a building control authority in respect of works on non-domestic buildings and apartments blocks which were commenced or completed without the necessary Fire Safety Certificate (FSC). The certificate may be granted with or without conditions or refused.

An Architectural Conservation Area (ACA) is a place, area, group of structures or townscape that is of special architectural, historical, archaeological, technical, social, cultural, or scientific, interest, or that contributes to the appreciation of a Protected Structure. An ACA aims to identify and protect areas of special significance and promote an awareness of this significance.

An equipment grant is intended for the purchase or replacement of agreed relevant equipment. It includes the purchase of major and minor equipment.
A Major Equipment Grant provides for the purchase of large items of equipment up to a maximum value of €4,000.
A Minor Equipment Grant provides for the purchase of smaller items of equipment up to a maximum value of €1,500. This does not include Petrol / Diesel or Electrical Gardening Equipment.

The Annual Rate on Valuation for the service of the financial year ending on 31st December 2026 is €0.2140.
Agenda items are received by the Residents Association or Community group. These agenda items are then circulated by the Deputations Team to the relevant Council officials. A formal agenda is produced and issued to the Councillors representing that Local Electoral Area.
The Deputations Team will confirm the meeting date and time with the Residents Association or Community Group. When the meeting takes place each item listed on the agenda is discussed in detail with the Elected Members and Council Officials.
The Mortgage Arrears Resolution Process (MARP) was introduced to Local Authorities in October 2012 to help borrowers who are In arrears.
If you are not satisfied with the response to your request or if the Council fail to respond within the assigned timeframe, you can request an internal review of the matter. That review will be undertaken by an officer of the Council who was unconnected to the original decision. You must make your appeal within one month of receiving the original decision letter and the Council must respond to your appeal within one month of receipt of same.
