The Council will endeavour to decide on each application as soon as possible and will make every effort to issue a provisional approval of a grant within six weeks following receipt of a fully completed and valid application.
Delays in issuing provisional approval can occur due to incomplete applications, incorrect or insufficient documentation being submitted or if major works are being carried out which require evidence of planning permission or a certificate of exemption under the Planning Acts.

How long will the lease be for? Who decides?
The lease would be for 10 to 20 years and will be agreed between the owner and the Council.

Unfortunately we cannot guarantee the amount of coffin burials in a grave. It depends on the type of ground and other factors such as size of coffins etc.

Several small urns/caskets can be interred a grave.
How many days prior to starting the development am I required to submit a Commencement Notice?
You must submit a Commencement notice between 14 - 28 days before starting works, informing the Building Authority of your intended start date. If this is not completed youa re in breach of your Planning Conditions.

How many Residents Parking Permits can be purchased per residence?
In any one year, the Council shall, on application by a resident, issue one parking permit per resident’s car within its own pay parking area, subject to production of acceptable evidence by the resident up to an upper limit of four residents parking permits per dwelling.
Where a building comprises a converted house the total number of residents’ parking permits that may be held concurrently by residents of housing units in that building shall be four subject to the limit of one residents’ parking permit per housing unit and subject to production of acceptable evidence.
