Recycled Christmas Competition 2024 

🎄 The Winners of the Recycling Christmas Decoration Competition 2024 have been announced! 🎄 

Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council would like to thank all the artists who entered the competition this year and those of you who could join us for a festive evening at the Recycling Christmas Decoration Ceremony. The judges were blown away by the entries this year and it was a pleasure to meet the minds behind the creative masterpieces. Through your hard work you have saved Christmas from unnecessary waste by transforming unused household items into fantastic festive decorations that will light up you homes for years to come.

We were delighted to announce at our Recycling Christmas Decoration Ceremony that Neala Madden from 4th class in Our Lady’s Grove Primary School, Friarland, was awardedthe overall winners trophy for her fantastic decoration "Festive Transport". With such a stiff competition with so many fantastic entries we proud to display all decorations received in our pdf slideshow gallery below to show the county what is possible with a little imagination!

Thank you all again for taking part in this years competition and we look forward to seeing you all again for another festive crafting adventure next year!
