The Community Environment Action Fund, (previously known as the Local Agenda 21 Environmental Partnership Fund or LA21), promotes sustainable development at a local level by funding small scale, non-profit environmental projects, that make a significant difference in local communities. The scheme was launched by Mr. Richard Bruton, T.D., Minister for Communications, Climate Action and Environment on Wednesday, 21st August 2019.
 

Eligible projects support and complement national environmental policies such as those on Waste, Biodiversity, Climate Change, Air, Water and Sustainable Development.
 

The 2019 / 2020 Community Environment Action Fund (Local Agenda 21) has now closed.
