Join Aoife from Wicklow Willow on a journey to learn the world's oldest craft of weaving.  Aoife will gently take participants through the basic weaves used in creating structure and form, mixing varied species of willow to contrast colours and create your own art piece!  The Wicklow Willow team have extensive experience in the craft and heritage sectors, having won numerous awards for their works.  Supported by Creative Ireland dlr, the Libraries & Community Department, the Creative Café programme is run by the DLR Social Prescribing Programme for Health and Wellbeing at Southside Partnership DLR. Workshops are free and include a friendly and relaxed social cuppa and information about upcoming events and activities.
