Event Description

IMPORTANT: There will be limited parking at the College Road and Grange Road car parks for Samhain taking place on Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th this year and it is recommended that other transport options are considered.

This is due to recent intense rainfall events that preclude us from using pitches and open spaces within the park for car parking.

There will be additional parking provided along the Grange Road.  We regret any inconvenience caused.

This Saturday October 28th and Sunday October 29th 2023, SAMHAIN will be back from the dead for its annual Scarefest on the Haunted Walk in Marlay Park. All your fiendish favourites like the Banshee, Butcher, Giant Eyeball, Spiders, Witches and some new alarming additions will be there for a spooky start to Halloween.

Sharing is scaring, so if you have tickets get your group of at least two people together, put on your most dire dress or sinister suit, do your horrible hair and join us for this years Samhain. The Haunted Walk will be seventeen hundred metres of macabre and malevolent menaces guaranteed to make your Halloween a supernatural Scarefest.

We want to see you in your Halloween costumes but remember SAMHAIN is an outdoor event so warm clothing is recommended. The walk is approx. 1.7km long on a path suitable for buggies and wheelchairs.

The 4.30pm walk on Saturday and 3.30pm walk on Sunday will be tailored to suit people with special needs. This means that music and sound effects will be quieter, special effects and lighting will be softer and we will limit the number of visitors in comparison to other entry times in order to reduce queuing times in so far as is practicable.

One €5 ticket admits two people.

Do not come to Samhain unless you have a ticket.

Tickets for Samhain will not be on sale at the event.

Last entry to Samhain is at 8.15pm each day.

We look forward to a fright fest of spooky thrills and chills and hope you can join us.
