The Press Photographers Association of Ireland is delighted to announce that 21 award-winning images from its Press Photographer of the Year Awards 2021 are now on display in the grounds at dlr LexIcon, Dún Laoghaire. They were officially launched by Cathaoirleach of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, Cllr. Úna Power, on Friday 16 April 2021 and will be on display until early June. Visitors to Dún Laoghaire are invited to enjoy this stunning exhibition on their rambles around the area.

The Press Photographer of the Year 2021 title was awarded to James Crombie of Inpho Photography, whose portfolio the judges cited as 'A marriage of superb features work, creative portrait work and solid sports photography’. 

For the first time ever, this year’s Awards ceremony was held digitally and was streamed online via the Press Photographers Association of Ireland website. Presented by broadcaster Miriam O’Callaghan, the ceremony saw photographers from all four corners of the island of Ireland recognised for excellence in press photography. To view the full portfolio of winning and highly commended images from this year’s Awards please visit www.ppai.ie
