Join Dr David Coleman as he discusses supporting your primary school child’s self-confidence, helping them manage anxiety and develop their independence as well as how best to respond to our children to support their emotional development.
Dr Coleman is a clinical psychologist, specialising in working with children, teenagers and their families. He is also Adjunct Associate Professor in the School of Psychology, UCD. The heart of David’s work is clinical practice and he meets with children and teenagers with a whole host of psychological issues ranging from anxiety, to self-harm, bullying, social isolation, school related difficulties, family conflict, challenging behaviour, abuse-related trauma, coping with chronic medical issues and sometimes working exclusively with parents on the parenting of their family.
