Open House Dublin 2025

Open House Dublin, the free festival of architecture with 200+ events is taking place across Dublin from 11 to 19 October. This year’s theme of Future Heritage will spotlight how contemporary architecture can address challenges such as urbanisation, climate change, shifting technological and societal needs. The festival celebrates outstanding architecture, urban design, and the people that contribute to the creation of Dublin.
Don’t miss the ‘The Evolution of Neighbourhoods’ discussion in the dlr Council Chamber on Friday 17 October for people interested in art, architecture, cultural heritage and community development.
Open House Dublin includes a dedicated Junior weekend, 11-12 October for teens and children, with imaginative and creative workshops and activities, ahead of opening up hundreds of doors for everyone to experience the county through an extensive tour programme of buildings and spaces, exhibitions and workshops for all ages.
