Summer of Heritage 2026 will commence on the 13th July and run until the 06th September 2026.

The Metals is the historic pathway that linked the quarry in Dalkey to the harbour works in Dún Laoghaire. 

Join our guide and hear the history of the Metals, as you are brought back in time to the construction of the harbour and the birth of the town of Dún Laoghaire. 

The tour will take place between Dún Laoghaire and Glasthule.
