Summer of Heritage 2026 will commence on the 13th July and run until the 06th September 2026.

To mark the centenary of the birth of writer Hugh Leonard, Dalkey Castle, in association with DLR Heritage Office, will offer two immersive, guided literary walking tours in Dalkey. Led by an expert literary guide, extracts from Hugh Leonard’s work will be performed by an actor in sitespecific locations which feature in Home Before Night and his Tony-award-winning play, Da.
