Summer of Heritage 2026 will commence on the 13th July and run until the 06th September 2026.

Join us in a walk back in time to the town’s administrative origins as an infant maritime city of the steam age, exploring how various local authorities governed during British colonial rule, the transition to Irish independence, and the rapid expansion of the modern suburban county we know and love today.
