Event Description
“My dear Stevie: I sent you a little cat filled with sweets a few days ago but perhaps you do not know the story about the cat of Beaugency”. James Joyce wrote this story in a letter to his four-year-old grandson Stephen (“Stevie”). It is commonly known as ‘The Cat and the Devil’ however it is also known as The Cat of Beaugency. This marvellous story has been brought to life by the talented Moonfish Theatre Company.
This school event is part of dlr Libraries Bloomsday Festival 2025, in partnership with James Joyce Tower and Museum.
