Fraud is Everywhere – Know how to Protect Yourself 
Garda Older Person’s Association Safety & Security Seminar,

The Garda Older Persons Assosiation (GOPA) Safety and Security Seminar 2023 will take place on Wednesday, 4th October from 14:00 – 17:00 in Ballinteer St. John’s GAA Club, Grange Road, Rathfarnham, D16 YF75 as part of the dlr Festival of Inclusion. 

The dlr Age-Friendly Programme and the Garda Older Person’s Association (GOPA) will organise their third free Safety and Security Seminar 2023 on Wednesday, 4th October from 14:00 – 17:00 in Ballinteer St. John’s GAA Club, Grange Road, Rathfarnham, D16 YF75 as part of the dlr Festival of Inclusion.  

Speakers at the seminar will include 

·       Councillor Denis O’Callaghan, Cathaoirleach, Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council 

·       Patsy Fitzsimons, Head of Complaints & Investigations, Decision Support Service on the Assisted Decision-Making Act 2022 

·       Niamh Davenport, Head of Financial Crime, Banking & Payments Federation, Ireland 

·       Tony McCarthy, Seniors’ Alert Schem 

·       Sergeant James Malone, Crime Prevention Officer
