There are more places to watch professional tennis than at Wimbledon or one of the four Grand Slams, as this year dlr is a key sponsor of the AIG Irish Open Tennis Championships. This professional event is an ITF $25,000 Men’s Futures tournament and a Ladies $15,000 event. The action occurs from Sunday 29 July – Sunday 5 August and all happens at the beautiful Carrickmines Tennis Club.

The AIG Irish Open Tennis Championships will provide an opportunity for the local tennis community to experience top level tennis on their very own doorstep. It showcases the very best talent Ireland has to offer. Irish Davis Cup team members, Simon Carr and Peter Bothwell, will be in the draw and there will also be a number of Irish Wild Card entrants, tipped as the next generation of Irish players. The AIG Irish Open will likely also see the return of last year’s Ladies Finalist Sinead Lohan. There will be overseas players ranked from 150-350 in the ATP World Rankings looking to take home the top prize.
