Affordable Housing

Cllr. Shay Brennan and Mr. Eoghan Murphy, T.D., Minister for Housing, Planning and Local Government recently turned the sod at a new housing development of 155 new homes at Enniskerry Road, Stepaside. This project is being delivered through collaboration between Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, the Housing Agency, Respond and Tuath Housing Associations, and the Housing Finance Agency. Financial support is being provided through the Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government. Works on the site are underway and the homes are scheduled to be delivered in late 2021.

With regards to the Cost Rental element of the scheme, the application process for these units has not yet commenced. It is expected that the process for households to apply for, or express an interest in, these homes will be published approximately 3-6 months in advance of the completion of the development. Notifications to this effect will published at that time.
